Road Runner Dispatch was founded in 1976 by its current managing Director Kevin Edwards. In 1982 the company moved away from traditional haulage to pioneer the concept of same day delivery on the South Coast. With customer focus at its heart, the Company expanded rapidly to become pre-eminent in the Courier Industry.

In 2001 the Company moved to its existing purpose control centre at Kingscroft, Havant. Strategically placed just minutes form the A3M and the A27 the company have gone on to provide a range of vehicles with helpful drivers to ensure that your delivery is made on time every time.

As founder members of both the Despatch Association and the National Courier Association the company can draw on the experience and resource of over 400 members strategically placed throughout the UK.

Personnel

Kevin Edwards is founding and Managing Director with 25 years industry experience. Kevin co-ordinates the group’s business activities as well as spear heading marketing through the groups associate marketing company the Sustainable Marketing Company. In his spare time Kevin enjoys most water sports especially windsurfing. He is also keen to help other starting out in business and for the past 12 years has been a business mentor for the Princes Trust including more recently a most successful and innovative project Chalkhill Lives.

Greig Berry joined the company in 1999, initially as a driver and promoted to operations manager 2 years later. Specifically responsible for the day to day scheduling of all operations, Greig has learnt to understand the company’s client base and their specific requirement. He is also responsible for personnel recruitment and development and vehicle management.

Rob MacDonald joined the company in 2002 having previously studied Business Organisation. He has a dual role as office and service manager and ultimately has responsibility for all aspects of the company’s administration.

Essentially the success of the company is down to the collective efforts of its entire staff, in providing a cost effective, user friendly same day solution for all your logistical needs.
